I have had this quilt since early 2008, put the final border on today...and will load on the longarm tomorrow.I plan to take to Pennsylvania on Friday to give to my brother. I have owed him this quilt since 2007 when he sent hundreds of dollars worth of books to my South African library. So I promised to make him a quilt. Now need to get it done. I have also 
finished a friends UFO.... a lonestar quilt. Guess that doesn't count for me...but I have been extra good...and purchased no new fabric....this week! :o) HAve a great week.

Love that star quilt top! I made one with a black background and brights for the star--it was the one of the most striking quilts I've ever made.
