Completed Blocks

Ok, so now I have my 16 blocks completed and I've been playing with layouts.

Having blocks with two different colour combinations means almost twice the choices. In photos 3 and 4 I've just swapped the colours around. I have several other layouts on the camera but these are the family favourites.
Please feel free to leave your thoughts or preferences, I appreciate your ideas.

I love number 2 best, followed by number 3.
I'm not too keen on 1. I feel as if the corners are floating away from the rest of the quilt.
I love how in number 2, the corners lead the eye into the centre, to look at the white, then the cross in the centre, which then takes the eye back out to the outside surrounds of the quilt, completing the circuit and beginning again.
The blocks are great. Love the colour combinations you have used.

Yes, number 2 is by the best, I like it. How many hours have you spent making and sewing it all together?

I agree that # 2 looks best. I think it's because the dark strips that ended up framing the entire piece hold it all together.....

a bit late, but I like 2 as well.
